The Vampire Portal

I bid you welcome

Welcome to my compendium of all things vampire. It is written and curated by myself, but volunteers can send inquiries at draculover [at] protonmail [dot] com. You can expect to see:

  • Free public domain vampire books
  • Ambient-centric reviews of vampire films
  • Its own in-house bibliography
  • An ever-hungry link page
  • A vampire version of the Geek code for you to fill in
  • And anything else with fangs and something interesting

Why does this exist?

I love vampires, and the flow of information shouldn't stop at a handful of websites. Information on vampires, while extensive, is scattered like dare I say, a handful of ashes. Aforementioned information monopolies aside, I thought it was only decent to try and make some sense of this new ecosystem. You won't see this information in YouTube videos, you won't see this information on Wikipedia, and some of it won't even be on Archive.org. This information is at the bare minimum, made by professionals. I promise to the best of my ability, and with the risks of mistranslation, the truth.

I'm not a professional myself. I’m a disgruntled autistic who’s fixated on the flow of information surrounding her special interest. I also happen to have a handsome amount of free time, thanks to my full-time (yet remote) job. However, idle hands are a devil's plaything and so I occupy my mortal breaths with the relentless pursuit of Things. What you see, in all its ambitions, is the work of a passionate fan.

Also, I figured my findings would be easier to read if I arranged them like this.
